Environmental Student Council

The purpose of the Niemes Environmental Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and encourage environmental awareness, the student council is the voice of the student body. The Niemes Student Council Officers and Representatives have helped facilitate several events at our school:

- Weekly recycling pick-up

- School beautification

- Assist with the Niemes Environmental Festival

- Schoolwide student surveys
