PTA & School Site Council
The Niemes Parent Teacher Association has an ambitious and worthwhile schedule of events planned for the school
year. The PTA is dedicated to Niemes, and supports the vision of the school. The PTA holds monthly meetings, organizes school events, raises funds for field trips, educational materials, and activities for the students and staff. PTA collaborates closely with the School Site Council to correlate school activities with the school vision.
School Site & English Learner Advisory Council
The School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC) meet monthly for the express purpose of improving school programs. The Council is a representative group from the school site made up of the principal, staff and parents. Notices of all meetings and agendas are communicated with families via parent square. The School Site Council works closely with the PTA to maintain a unified school vision.
We meet typically on the 1st Thursday of each month.
Meetings take place in Room 5 or 6 at 6:00 p.m.
